✦ Clay Sculpture — Eagle
This clay model of an eagle was created for the BRDS design competition, where I chose to sculpt a grounded, perched eagle with its wings folded. Sitting calmly on a stone base, the eagle was shaped to reflect quiet strength and dignity rather than flight — focusing on anatomical proportion, subtle textures, and balanced form.
The freedom of the open-ended prompt allowed me to follow a more observational and meditative approach. The piece went on to win the competition and remains a reminder of how stillness can hold just as much power as motion in visual storytelling.
